Abstract

With the implementation of new and more sophisticated advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) aimed at improving weapons control systems, new applications and the need for a range of control measures are emerging. Biometric data has evolved in parallel to AI systems, progressing from fingerprints to retina scans and DNA analysis. In this paper we will analyse the importance of these control elements and their implementation in the defensive measures of states, as well as question the ethics of their execution.
