Abstract

Research on Wikipedia must consider the characteristics of the collaborative community that gives it life, and the principles of open knowledge. There are numerous approaches in which research addresses the Wikipedia phenomenon in its twenty years of life: studies of the behavioral patterns of those who edit, information credibility, social memory, gender studies, or education are relevant topics.

  • The use of this contribution in bookmarks, code forks, additions to favorite lists for recurrent reading, as well as general views, indicates that someone is using the publication as a basis for their current work.
