Abstract

La Alianza de Intelectuales Antifascistas para la Defensa de la Cultura se presenta como una de las instituciones más relevantes para la comprensión del discurso antifascista en España durante la Guerra Civil. Este texto explora la posición de la mujer en la agrupación y la imagen que de ella se desprende en la revista del grupo: El Mono Azul. Se ha trazado un recorrido por la idea de lo femenino en las primeras agrupaciones de mujeres del siglo XX para culminar con un estudio de los textos publicados en la citada revista, en conexión con otras revistas antifascistas como Hora de España y Mujeres Libres.
